Winter 2014

By December 3, 2014March 9th, 2016NewsLetters

I have asked myself a dozen times lately “Where does the time go?” Again, as I pass the gavel to our 2015 president Shannon Ramos, I am thinking how fast this year seemed to fly by.

It has been an honor to hold office in our organization and I want to thank you for your support. I would especially like to thank the Executive Committee for their dedication and commitment to OCRA.

The Fall Conference in Klamath Falls was so very interesting. Well done Connie and Carol! Plans are already underway for next year hosted by OHSU. I would also like to encourage you to step out of your safety zones and consider holding an office position in 2016. You will be glad you did and surprised at how much you will enjoy it. Think of it as an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. There is always someone to lend a hand if you need help. The rewards are great; and you can strengthening the organization with your fresh ideas and inspiration.

Merry Christmas to each of you and have a safe and Happy New Year.
